Important instructions for proper LED and energy-saving lamps use
Please handle energy saving lamps with caution! Energy saving lamps contain mercury, which may be harmful at a certain concentration. If you break an energy saving lamp, take the fragments with suitable material to, dispose of them of as special waste and provide for plenty of fresh air.
Should you come in contact with mercury, follow these instructions:
- In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with plenty of water. If necessary, remove contaminated clothes. If skin changes contact a doctor.
- In case of eye contact, rinse the eye with plenty of water and contact a eye specialist.
- If swallowed mercury, drink plenty of water, induce vomiting and contact your doctor.
- In case of inhalation of mercury, provide plenty of fresh air. In upcomming nausea or dizziness, contact a doctor.
Although a slight contact with mercury usually does not cause permanent damage to health, we advise you nevertheless in any case, consulting a doctor, if you experience health Problems!
